Hector International Airport is served by Northwest, Pinnacle, United Express (Skywest), Delta Connection (Skywest) and Allegiant Air. Northwest Airlines offers daily flights to Minneapolis/St. Paul utilizing Airbus A320 and A319, McDonnell Douglas DC-9, and Canadair Regional Jet aircraft.
Skywest flies both the United Express and Delta Connection flights to/from Fargo. United Express has non-stop daily flights to Chicago O'Hare and Denver while Delta Connection flies non-stop to Salt Lake City. Skywest flies the Canadair Regional Jet on all their non-stop flights.
Allegiant Air initiated non-stop service to Las Vegas, NV in late 2005 utilizing the 150-seat McDonnell Douglas MD-80 aircraft.
2006 was the busiest year in terms of total passengers for the airport. Over 609,000 passengers either enplaned or deplaned at Hector International Airport. Also in 2006, the Municipal Airport Authority initiated a terminal expansion project to meet the needs of the passenger terminal of the next 20 years.
